Interesting how suffering reveals a person’s true heart. I read a statement recently that said if suffering made people humble and loving, the whole world would be humble and loving because everyone suffers. The sister’s true natures are starting to shine through.

Hi Joan, Kerri and all, You know what else struck me? The importance of the family we grew up in. These young women, as children were so close knit, and endured so much together. Now, apart, they are each finding their own ways to cope with their new situations. And, their need of each other for grounding and support is what I am taken with. It is those we are closest to that have the potential to help us find our way and our purpose. A dear sister or brother, or a trusted friend or relative are priceless.
